Glenoid articular cartilage lesions represent a challenging condition in shoulder surgery, particularly in young and active patients. This study describes an arthroscopic capsulolabral advancement technique for the treatment of peripheral glenoid chondral defects. The capsulolabral tissue is mobilized and advanced over the cartilage defect, providing coverage of the exposed glenoid surface while preserving shoulder stability and motion. Clinical follow-up demonstrated satisfactory functional outcomes with no significant postoperative loss of range of motion. Capsulolabral advancement may therefore represent a useful joint-preserving option for selected patients with peripheral glenoid chondromalacia.
