Abstract
Well-designed visual languages have the power to communicate health messages clearly and effectively to nonexperts, including journalists, patients and politicians. Otherwise, they can confuse and alienate recipients, undermining the meaning of the message and leaving room for conflict, mistrust and pseudoscience. In this perspective, the paper reflects on the importance and complexity of visual communication of health information as an individual's right to be well informed, especially in risk and emergency scenarios.File in questo prodotto:
