Burden and quality of life in caregivers of children with schizophrenia in terms of mental health, social life and economic stability. The burden of caregivers is a concept not yet well defined. An article from 2020 whose objective was to clarify this concept defined it as the level of multifaceted strain perceived by the caregiver from caring for a family member and/or loved one over time (Liu, 2020). Concerning the quality of life, the WHO defines it as an individual's perception of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns.
