Geopolitica del Covid-19. La pandemia e i suoi riflessi su piani multipli e transcalari

The rapid global spread of the Covid-19 virus has strongly highlighted, on multiple and transcalar levels, some problems that emerged worldwideafter the end of bipolarism and the advent of the 21st century, i.e. the crisisof globalization which have clear repercussions on the world economic andpolitical situation. The pandemic is entering a phase of global instability,linked to the tensions caused by the trade war between the United States andChina, as well as the slowdown of the economy and the growth of populisms. In this sense, the consequences of the pandemic have caused thegreatest shock to the international order since the Second World War.

La rapida diffusione a livello planetario del virus Covid-19 ha evidenziato con forza, su piani multipli e transcalari, alcuni problemi emersia livello mondiale dopo la fine del bipolarismo e l'avvento del XXI secolo,ovvero la crisi della globalizzazione, che ha evidenti ripercussionisull'economia e sulla situazione politica a livello globale. La pandemia èemersa in una fase di instabilità mondiale, legata alle tensioni provocatedalla guerra commerciale tra Stati Uniti e Cina, al conseguenterallentamento dell’economia mondiale e alla crescita di sovranismi epopulismi. In tal senso, le conseguenze della diffusione del virus hannocausato il più grande shock all'ordine internazionale dalla Seconda guerramondiale.
