From the second half of the 1980s until the end of the decade, the Green lists in Italy and the ecological debate gave rise to proposals and initiatives to tackle environmental degradation and changing power relations, aiming to act at different levels, from local to international.

Abstract
From the second half of the 1980s until the end of the decade, the Green lists in Italy and the ecological debate gave rise to proposals and initiatives to tackle environmental degradation and changing power relations, aiming to act at different levels, from local to international. On the wave of a broader transnational ecological movement and in the context of the anti-nuclear struggle, the Greens created a federation, creating a new political force in the Italian system, heterogeneous and in a minority. This contribution intends to retrace a first moment of reflection and political elaboration of an international nature: the Pescara meeting (September 1986), aimed at bringing together the many souls of the Green Archipelago.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
