Unquestionably, the debate on Artificial Intelligence and its implications for the future of humanity is becoming increasingly heated, for better or for worse. Within this context, the research line proposed in this paper aims to identify the possible pedagogical implications of generative AI on teaching and learning processes, specifically about Emotional Intelligence. To explore the impact of integrating emotional intelligence into AI systems, an initial study was conducted with a group of TFA support trainees from the University of Tuscia, which highlighted opportunities and critical issues regarding the potential of inclusive teacher training.

Abstract

Unquestionably, the debate on Artificial Intelligence and its implications for the future of humanity is becoming increasingly heated, for better or for worse. Within this context, the research line proposed in this paper aims to identify the possible pedagogical implications of generative AI on teaching and learning processes, specifically about Emotional Intelligence. To explore the impact of integrating emotional intelligence into AI systems, an initial study was conducted with a group of TFA support trainees from the University of Tuscia, which highlighted opportunities and critical issues regarding the potential of inclusive teacher training.
