The purpose of this document is to clarify the requirementsthat a doctor must have for carryingout the Authorized Examiner (AME) activity forclass II workers.We have consulted the normative sources that indicatethe requisite that the authorized physiciansmust possess and subsequently we have comparedthe norms, the European Union regulationsand the national ones issued by the National CivilAviation Body (ENAC), as well as the guidelinesindicated by the EASA.Finally, Authors give suggestions that can be givento ENAC regarding the issue of the authorizationas AME examiner for class II workers.
