Orientare per costruire progetti: le premesse pedagogiche dell’orientamento nella categoria della progettualità

The act of orienting or orienting oneself is a moment of pure exercise of responsibility, ability and autonomy, but it is also and above all the construction of (life) projects. The emphasis on the pedagogical category of planning wants to focus orientation in a natural educational terrain, in a time in which different disciplines try to inscribe it within their own knowledge. If orienting is that process that the individual puts in place when he has to make a choice, the latter is the object of pedagogical investigation when the freedom of the person is in fact freedom (to choose) to do. So, planning is the pivot within which an orientation takes shape that is not an end in itself but capable of looking at a horizon that is not very close.

L’atto di orientare o di orientarsi è un momento di esercizio puro di responsabilità, capacità e autonomia; ma è anche e soprattutto costruzione di progetti (di vita). L’accento sulla categoria pedagogica della progettualità vuol focalizzare l’orientamento in un naturale terreno educativo, in un tempo nel quale diverse discipline provano a inscriverlo entro il proprio sapere. Se orientare è quel processo che l’individuo mette in atto quando deve fare una scelta, proprio quest’ultima è oggetto di indagine pedagogica nel momento in cui la libertà della persona è di fatto libertà (di scegliere) di fare. La progettualità è, così, perno entro cui prende forma un orientamento non fine a se stesso, ma capace di guardare verso un orizzonte non ravvicinatissimo.
