In the first part of this chapter, the neuroanatomical areas of attention are presented, starting from the main attentive processes, such as selective, sustained, auditory, automatic, and controlled attention. We show an overview of attention literature on brain circuits. In the second part, neural activity is presented in response to attentional processes. We described modern techniques for the enhancement, for example: evoked potentials, EEG, positron emission tomography, functional magnetic resonance imaging.

Abstract
In the first part of this chapter, the neuroanatomical areas of attention are presented, starting from the main attentive processes, such as selective, sustained, auditory, automatic, and controlled attention. We show an overview of attention literature on brain circuits. In the second part, neural activity is presented in response to attentional processes. We described modern techniques for the enhancement, for example: evoked potentials, EEG, positron emission tomography, functional magnetic resonance imaging.File in questo prodotto:
